Deleting your data.

You can remove your connected accounts at any time, and you can ask us to delete your Lainey account and all of its data. Here’s how.

Disconnect an app yourself

Go to Connections inside Lainey (Dashboard → Connections) and select Disconnect next to any app - Instagram, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and so on. Disconnecting immediately removes the access we hold for that app, so Lainey can no longer read from or post to it.

Delete your whole account + data

To permanently delete your Lainey account and everything stored with it - your Brain (business profile, offers, voice, goals, projects, content), your connected-app access tokens, and your usage history - email us at hey@lainey.io from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my data”. We action deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email once it’s done.

What we store, and for how long

Connected-app access: stored encrypted and removed the moment you disconnect the app. Access automatically expires if unused.
Your Brain + content: kept while your account is active so Lainey can work for you, and deleted when you delete your account.
